Founder of Beyond Relocations

Welcome to my little corner of the world—one that was meant to be temporary but somehow became home.

It all started in 2015 when I packed my bags and left Malaysia right after finishing my degree in Communications, ready for what was supposed to be a one-year adventure in France. The plan? Learn a little French, soak in the culture, and head back to start my career. But life, as it often does, had other plans.

I arrived knowing just enough French to order a baguette—"Bonjour, une baguette s’il vous plaît". Fast forward a few years, and I found myself not just speaking the language but studying in it, earning my master’s degree at a French university in Paris.

Somewhere between struggling through my first phone call in French, navigating the infamous French bureaucracy, and falling in love (both with the country and my now-husband), France became more than just a stop along the way—it became home.

I know firsthand what it’s like to start fresh in a new country—the excitement, the challenges, and the countless moments of “Why is this so complicated?” That’s why I created Beyond Relocations. I wanted to turn my own experience into a service that makes moving to France seamless, taking the stress out of the process so you can focus on building your own story here, just like I did.
